Five separate fire incidents reported in Kashmir Valley during past 24 hours

Srinagar: Five separate fire incidents were reported across different parts of the Kashmir Valley in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) during the past 24 hours.
According to Kashmir Media Service, officials from the Fire and Emergency Services on Monday said the fire incidents occurred in Sopore and multiple locations in Kupwara district, affecting residential structures, cowsheds and a temporary shed.
They said a single-storey residential house in Sher Colony of Sopore suffered damage after a fire broke out during the night. Fire tenders from the nearby station responded and brought the flames under control.
In Helmetpora Check area of Kupwara, a cowshed was damaged in another incident. Officials said the response teams prevented the fire from spreading to adjoining structures. A double-storey residential house at Narikoot in Kalaroos also caught fire and sustained partial damage before crews contained it.
Two more incidents were reported in the Kupwara district. At Hempora in Qaziabad, a single-storey cowshed caught fire and was controlled following intervention by firefighters. In Sopore’s Ibrahim Colony Arampora, a temporary shed was damaged after a minor blaze.
Officials said all incidents were brought under control without loss of human life. Damage assessments are underway at the affected sites.
The department urged locals to cooperate during emergencies by keeping access routes clear for fire tenders.
