Agha Hasan condemns Islamabad imambargah blast as barbaric attack on humanity
Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and President of Anjuman Sharie Shian, Agha Syed Hasan Al-Moosvi Al-Safavi, strongly condemned the devastating suicide blast at an Imambargah in Islamabad, calling it a blatant and barbaric attack on humanity.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the suicide blast at Imambargah Khadijah al-Kubra in the Tarlai area of Islamabad claimed at least 31 lives and left 169 others injured, today.
In a statement in Srinagar, Agha Hasan expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of those martyred in the blast and prayed for the speedy and complete recovery of those injured in the attack.
He said that targeting places of worship demonstrates that terrorist elements are not only enemies of humanity but also of social peace, unity, and stability. He described the killing innocent worshippers in mosques and imambargahs as an unforgivable crime.
Agha Hasan stressed that the planners, facilitators, and perpetrators of this terrorist act must be immediately identified, brought to justice, and given exemplary punishment, sending a clear message that no enemy of peace will dare to commit such brutality in the future.
