Four Indian CRPF CoBRA Commandos, driver killed in Chhattisgarh

Dhamtari: Four personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and a driver were killed in a road accident in Chhattisgarh state of India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the deceased were members of the CRPF’s elite CoBRA (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action) unit.
The accident occurred near Khapri village on the Dhamtari bypass along the Jagdalpur–Raipur Highway in Dhamtari district when their vehicle rammed into a stationary truck on Saturday.
Superintendent of Police Suraj Singh Parihar said the personnel belonged to the 201st battalion of the CoBRA unit.
Four CoBRA commandos, along with a civilian driver, were travelling to Raipur from Jagdalpur, the headquarters of Bastar district, to proceed to their native places on leave when the accident took place.
