Hindu Raksha Dal activist vandalises mazar in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow: The Hindutva Hindu member vandalized a Muslim religious place in BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh state of India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Hindutva activist, Prince Thakur, a resident of the Nandgram area incident damage to a decades-old mazar (Muslim shrine) located near the Hindon river bridge, under the flyover close to the Chhath Puja Ghat.
Thakur, was clearly visible in the footage kicking and damaging the structure. Although two others were reportedly present with him, only Thakur appeared in the video performing the act.
The video surfaced and was reportedly shared by the accused himself on social media platforms.
This incident highlights the growing challenges of monitoring online content that incites division.
Additional Commissioner of Police (ACP), Sahibabad, Shweta Yadav, claimed that the accused Prince Thakur, functionary of the Hindu Raksha Dal, was arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
