Indian forces arrest man with ‘two pistols’ in Rajouri

Jammu: Indian forces claimed to have arrested a man with two pistols and ammunition in Rajouri district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian Army’s 54 Rashtriya Rifles arrested the man identified as Sachin Kumar, son of Seejay Kumar, a resident of Sair, Nowshera, with two pistols and ammunition in the Nowshera area of the district.

Indian officials claimed that the man was apprehended by Indian forces after he was acting suspiciously. During the search, two pistols, four magazines, and 15 live rounds were recovered from his possession.

A case under the Arms Act and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) has been registered at Nowshera police station, and further investigation is underway, the officer added.
