Modi govt seeks to appease US by giving access to sensitive facilities
New Delhi: After India’s recent military and diplomatic failures, the Modi government, which is suffering from global isolation, is trying its best to get US attention.
According to Kashmir Media Service, to save the humiliating defeat at the hands of Pakistan in the maarka-e-Haq and its international disgrace and declining reputation, the Modi government has given America access to the country’s most sensitive military facilities, which experts are calling a major compromise on the Modi government’s national sovereignty.
The Indian media, known as Godi Media, is currently presenting the visit of the American delegation to sensitive military facilities as an extraordinary historical achievement, but the reality is the opposite.
The cold war in relations between Washington and New Delhi after the large-scale purchase of Russian oil and the imposition of tariffs of up to 50 percent by US President Trump has not ended yet. The attitude of the American administration is still cold.
According to global experts, the abysmal failure of the recent AI Summit held in India has embarrassed the Modi government on the global stage, from which the visit of the US ambassador is being used as a shield to divert attention.
Defense observers say that India’s foreign policy is currently under severe pressure. On the one hand, the defeat of the maarka-e-Haq has shattered the illusion of Indian military power, while, on the other, these desperate attempts to gain American favor are testimony to the “groundbreaking” of Indian diplomacy.
Analysts claim that India is merely trying to hide its weaknesses through ‘optics’ and media management. The US ambassador’s access to sensitive military installations is actually a desperate attempt to get American blessings so that India’s declining importance in the region can be artificially supported.
