IIOJK placed under siege on eve of Pahalgam anniversary

Srinagar : Indian authorities have tightened sweeping restrictions across Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on the eve of the first anniversary of the Pahalgam false flag operation used by the India’s Modi regime to justify intensified repression in the territory.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian forces have turned the entire territory into a military garrison, deploying heavy contingents in major urban centres. Residents are being stopped at multiple checkpoints, subjected to rigorous searches, and summoned to police stations where they reportedly face intrusive questioning and harassment.
All entry and exit points across the Valley are under strict surveillance, while Indian Army, police, CRPF and BSF personnel have been placed on high alert to curb any public gatherings or commemorative activities.
The restrictions have not been limited to the Valley alone, as similar measures have been enforced in the Jammu region, particularly in Doda, Kishtwar, Kathua, and Samba districts, indicating a region-wide clampdown.
