Indian paramilitary soldier injured in firing incident in Jammu
Jammu: An Indian paramilitary soldier was injured in a firing incident at Jammu Railway Station in Jammu district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the injured soldier was identified as Jaswinder Singh of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
Police officials said the incident occurred when Jaswinder Singh’s rifle accidently went off while he was waiting for a train at the railway station. The bullet struck his foot, leaving him injured.
He was immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment, where his condition was stated to be stable.
Police have registered the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances that led to the accidental firing.
