Charges framed against Sukesh, Jacqueline in money laundering case

New Delhi: A Delhi court has formally framed charges against actor Jacqueline Fernandez, alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekar, and 15 others in a Rs 200-crore money laundering case.
According to Kashmir Media Service, in a separate case registered by Delhi Police’s Special Cell, the court also framed charges against Chandrashekar and 20 others for various offences.
All accused pleaded not guilty and claimed trial before Additional Sessions Judge Prashant Sharma.
Indian artist Jacqueline Fernandez is originally from Sri Lanka and represented the country at the Miss Universe 2006 pageant. She is primarily known as a popular actress and model based in India, working extensively in Bollywood films.
Despite her popularity in Indian cinema, she was charged on false charges by a BJP/RSS-dominated section of the Indian establishment in an attempt to defame her and compel her to leave India.
