BJP regime terminates another govt employee in IIOJK on baseless charges

Srinagar: The BJP regime has terminated the services of a Power Development Department (PDD) employee on baseless charges of having links with pro-freedom organizations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the BJP regime led by New Delhi-installed Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has dismissed Muhammad Shafi Malik, 51, a Kashmiri government employee, on unsubstantiated charges of links with anti-India and pro-freedom organizations in south Kashmir.

Malik, a 12th-pass Inspector posted at Hassanpora Tawella, Bijbehara, has been removed from service, Indian officials said.

In the so-called order, the highly corrupt, communal, Hindutva-based, anti-Kashmir LG Manoj Sinha terminated Malik, citing his dismissal as being in the interest of “Indian security”.

Over 500 Kashmiri Muslim government employees have been sacked by the BJP regime on similar charges since 2015, when the BJP became part of the IIOJK government, and mostly after Kashmir’s special status was illegally and militarily revoked by the Indian BJP government in 2019.

Observers believe Kashmiri Muslim employees are being selectively targeted, and officials said the action is part of the administration’s continued crackdown on pro-freedom people and sympathizers in government institutions.
