Hindutva mob attacks Christian school in Madhya Pradesh
Bhopal: A Hindutva mob led by the members of extremist organization Bajrang Dal attacked a Christian missionary school in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Hindutva members, including a woman, forcefully entered the school in Betul district when prayers were going on there. A video of the attack is making rounds on social media.
The Hindutva mob claimed that the Christian community members were conducting “forced religious conversions”.
It is to be mentioned here that attacks on Christian schools and Churches by Hindutva goons have become a norm in India.
In a similar incident in September 2023, Sagar district of the state witnessed the Hindutva goons storming Saint Mary’s Convent School, accusing it of disrespecting a Hindu god. The mob had forcibly entered the cabin of the principal and created disturbance.
The Principal Sister Sarita Joseph strongly refuted the allegations, emphasising the school’s respect for all religions without bias. “We offer education to all our students equally,” she said.
