Islamabad: Rightwing Hindu organizations Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) use the anti-Muslim rhetoric and propagate hatred against Pakistan to win elections in India.

It is a routine affair for the Hindutva organizations to use anti-Pakistan propaganda just to dupe voters in India. Anti-Muslim and anti-Pakistan factor will again form essential part of propaganda for political campaign by Sangh Parivar in India.

Anti-Pakistan and anti-Muslim narratives have increased ahead of polls in India. As Lok Sabha elections draw nearer in India, BJP and RSS have escalated the anti-Pakistan campaign using the plaint Indian media. Trend of spreading propaganda against Pakistan and Muslims is not new in India yet the same will accelerate in coming months under Modi’s watch.

The Modi regime is hiring services of PR firms, trolls and influencers on social media platforms to disseminate propaganda against Pakistan and Muslims. Hindu rightwing campaigners are using social media to advance and promote anti-Pakistan and anti-Muslim narratives ahead of LS polls in India.

Misinformation has become a permanent tool in Modi’s policy manual related to Pakistan and Muslims and Indian media is master at spreading false information and fake news particularly about Pakistan and Muslims. Channels like Republic, Zee, and AAJ TAK are acting as Hindutva mouthpieces when it comes to Pakistan and Muslims.

Modi and his ilk have a habit of blaming Pakistan for their failures. India is always playing the victim card and blaming Pakistan for its domestic problems. Disinformation campaigns against Pakistan and Muslims have surged in India under Modi. India’s disinformation network is meant to create a negative impression of Pakistan across the world as India is using information warfare as a major hybrid tool against Pakistan.
