Suspected arson at Indian Army complex leaves 6 soldiers injured in IIOJK

Srinagar: A late-night suspicious blaze engulfed an Indian Army complex in Kupwara, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the destruction of injuries to six soldiers besides heavy damage to property.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident unfolded at Indian Army’s 28 INF. Div Camp Zangli, in the district, last night.

The inferno, which broke out at approximately 1 a.m., cast an orange glow over the Army complex, raising concerns about the safety of military installations.

The courageous efforts of the firefighting teams prevented further escalation, but the toll was evident. Six Army personnel sustained burn injuries during the chaotic incident.

The cause of the fire remains shrouded in mystery, prompting an ongoing investigation to unravel the circumstances leading up to the blaze.
