New Delhi: Chhattisgarh’s battle against Naxal insurgency claimed the life of Constable Ram Ashish Yadav, hailing from Balia in Bihar.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred in Bijapur district when a patrolling team encountered a pressure Improvised Explosive Device (IED) strategically planted by Naxalites near Nala.
The unsuspecting patrol team inadvertently triggered the explosive device as they traversed the area. The detonation resulted in grave injuries to Constable Yadav, who valiantly fought for survival but ultimately succumbed to his wounds.
The loss of Constable Yadav underscores the persistent threats faced by the Indian forces personnel operating in Naxal-affected regions.
