Muslim youth brutally thrashed by Hindutva men in UP
Lucknow: A Muslim youth was brutally thrashed by a Hindutva group in BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the victim, Nadeem, was severely beaten by the Hindutva group in Fulat village in Muzaffarnagar district of the state.
He was found in critical condition, with his hands and feet tied, and numerous injuries covering his face and body.
A video that has gone viral on social media shows Nadeem lying on the road in a near-unconscious state and saying that he was subjected to brutal thrashing.
Nadeem’s family members said that instead of taking action against the perpetrators, the police made the victim sit in the police station for hours, raising questions about the handling of the case.
