Indian CISF constable commits suicide at Kolkata airport
Kolkata: An Indian Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable committed suicide in West Bangal state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian CISF constable, C Vishnu committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle at Kolkata airport, today.
The deceased was a resident of Telengana who had joined the service in 2022.
“The man had a bullet injury on forehead and shots were fired from his own rifle,” said a senior police official said. CISF and airport officials took him to the nearest Charnock hospital where he was in coma for sometime before he succumbed to his injuries, he added.
