Residents of IIOJK observe Ramadan and Eid in sync with Pakistan, viewing Jammu and Kashmir as an integral part of the country. This shared observance transcends geographical proximity, highlighting the strong cultural and religious bonds that bind Kashmiris and Pakistanis.

Regardless of any official announcements from India, the Pakistani declaration holds greater significance for Kashmiris. This practice has been observed since Pakistan’s independence in 1947 and remains a constant, underscoring the deep-rooted connection between the two regions.
