Massive forest fire rages in Rajouri; 2 houses damaged in Srinagar blaze
Jammu: A massive forest fire broke out in a village in Darhal tehsil of Rajouri district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the fire started in the forest area of Sabzi Dodaj village in the district.
Indian officials said that the fire fighters were trying to douse the flames and prevent further damage to the forest area.
Meanwhile, two residential houses were damaged in a separate fire incident in Hawal area of Srinagar district, today.
An official said that the damaged houses belong to Mohammad Maqbool Sheikh and Abdul Rahman Mir. The cause of fire is being ascertained while further investigation has been taken up, he added.
