Speakers pay tributes to Amir Kabir Syed Ali Hamdani in Islamabad

Islamabad: The Shah Hamdan International Conference, was held at Kashmir House in Islamabad, today, which was organized by the Shah Hamdan International Welfare Trust.

According to Kashmir Media Service, presided over by Abdul Rashid Turabi chief patron of the Council, the conference was addressed by Sardar Yaqub khan, ex-President of AJK, Ch Latif Akbar, Speaker of AJK Assembly, Shah Ghulam Qadir, ex- speaker and President of PML-N, AJK, Liaqat Baloch, Naib Ameer of Jamat-e-Islami Pakistan , APHC-AJK leaders Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Syed Faiz Naqashbandi, Shamim Shawl, ambassadors and diplomats of Tajikstan, Iran and Afghanistan, Syed Naseer Hamdani, Chairmen of the Trust, Qazi Shahid, chief organiser of the Trust, Dr Iqbal Khalil, Chairman IRS , Eng Azhar Ahmed, Eng Khalid, Naib Ameer, JI, AJK and prominent scholars from AJK GB Pakistan, media personalities also participated and addressed the occasion.

The speakers of the conference paid tributes to Amir Kabir Syed Ali Hamdani for his invaluable services to the revival of the Islamic Movement and the promotion of human brotherhood.

The speakers, comprising political leaders from Kashmir, Pakistan, and Muslim Brotherhood countries, scholars, and researchers, acknowledged the enduring impact of Kashmir and Central Asia, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir, where the Islamic movement, culture, industry, and crafts owe a debt to his services. Therefore, he is rightly revered as the benefactor of Kashmir.

They expressed grave concern that Amir Kabir’s Kashmir, the cradle of Muslim civilization, peace, and harmony, stands at a critical juncture due to Indian state terrorism and civil aggression.

They speakers also denounced the Modi government’s plot to convert the Moaali monastery established by Amir Kabir into a Hindu temple and urged international organizations, including the United Nations and the OIC, to protect the Muslim identity of Kashmir and end the atmosphere of war and conflict in the region.

They demanded that Indian state terrorism be held accountable and the people of Kashmir be granted the right to self-determination, in accordance with the United Nations agreements.

The speakers condemned the Israeli aggression on Gaza and Palestine, resulting in the martyrdom of thousands, including women and children, and the destruction of the Gaza region.

They called upon Muslim countries to exert effective political and diplomatic pressure to end the aggression.
