Indian troops arrest over 50 people, expand operations in Reasi
Jammu: Indian forces’ personnel have arrested over fifty people from different areas of Reasi district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops have launched massive operations in different areas of Reasi. The operations have been expanded to far-flung Arnas and Mahore areas of the district.
These operations started after nine people including Hindu pilgrims were killed and over 30 injured when the bus they were travelling in fell into a deep gorge in Teryath village of Poni area in Reasi district.
Confirming the arrests of over 50 people, Indian police claimed it followed an intensive investigation into the incident in which nine people were killed and over 30 injured when the bus they were travelling in fell into a deep gorge in Teryath village of Poni area in Reasi district. “To ensure a comprehensive probe, search operations have been expanded,” the police added.
It is worth mentioning that though Indian officials claimed that the bus swerved off the mountain road and fell into the gorge after unknown attackers fired on the bus yet it is widely believed that the Indian agencies were behind the bus attack as they have a history of similar actions.
