Many arrested during Indian forces’ extensive raids in Kashmir
Srinagar: Indian forces’ personnel have launched extensive raids across occupied Jammu and Kashmir, leading to the arrest of several innocent Kashmiris.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Counter-Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) conducted a major operation on Tuesday morning in six districts of the valley, including Srinagar, Ganderbal, Pulwama, Islamabad, Budgam, and Kulgam.
Officials claimed dismantling a “recruitment module” linked to a “newly formed organization” called “Tehreek Labaik Ya Muslim” (TLM), previously unknown to the residents of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
“In the early hours of October 22, the Counter-Intelligence Kashmir carried out extensive raids across multiple districts,” the CIK said, claiming the disruption of the TLM recruitment efforts.
Additionally, a team from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) visited the construction site in Ganderbal where five migrant workers, a designer, and a doctor were killed. The NIA team was led by a Superintendent of Police from the agency’s regional branch.
Drones and sniffer dogs have been deployed to search the dense forests surrounding the area, with authorities collecting evidence and continuing their investigation. Currently, there are no directives for involvement from other agencies.
The uptick in violence has raised serious concerns about the conspiracies being orchestrated by the Hindutva regime in India to distract the new setup in IIOJK from the restoration of Article 370 and other fundamental rights that have been snatched from the Kashmiris during the past decade of BJP rule in India and occupied Kashmir.
