Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkey reaffirms unwavering support for Kashmiris

Ankara: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkey, Dr. Yusuf Junaid, has reaffirmed that unwavering political, diplomatic, and moral support for the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir will persist until the Kashmir dispute is resolved in accordance with United Nations Security Council resolutions.

According to Kashmir Media Service, speaking at the Institute of Strategic Thinking (SDE) in Ankara, Dr. Junaid passionately addressed the Kashmir dispute, emphasizing that India has deployed its forces in IIOJK against the will of the Kashmiri people. He highlighted the necessity of resolving the Kashmir dispute in alignment with UN Security Council resolutions to ensure both regional and global peace. He also expressed gratitude to the Turkish people and government for their principled stance on this matter.

Alper Tan, Vice President of the SDE, reiterated Turkey’s longstanding support for a peaceful resolution to the Kashmir dispute, reflecting the desires of the Kashmiri people.

During the question-and-answer session, diplomat Nauman Hazar voiced concern over the international community’s indifference to the situations in both Kashmir and Palestine. Participants collectively reaffirmed their commitment to a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute, in line with UN Security Council resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
