APHC-AJK rally in Karachi urges global action on Kashmir

KARACHI: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC-AJK) chapter organized a rally in Karachi to mark Kashmir Black Day.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the event, led by Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi, General Secretary Advocate Pervez Ahmed Shah, Syed Ejaz Ahmed, Abdul Hamid Lone, and Sheikh Abdul Majid, was attended by a large number of Karachi’s citizens and various political, social, and religious organizations.

The rally began at the Karachi Arts Council and concluded at the Karachi Press Club. Participants condemned India’s atrocities in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, chanting anti-India slogans and demanding the right to self-determination for Kashmiris.

Speakers, including Senator Waseem Mahdi (PPP), Amin Haq (MQM), Muhammad Hussain Mehanti (JI), and former AJK President Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob, urged the international community to pressure India to grant Kashmiris their right to self-determination.

Other notable speakers included Sharmila Farooqi (PPP), Amir Ghaffar Lone (AJK Assembly member), and Faisal Hussain (President, Tehreek Naujawan Karachi). They praised the Kashmiris’ struggle and demanded freedom from Indian occupation.

Ghulam Muhammad Safi, APHC AJK Convener, thanked participants and reaffirmed the ongoing struggle for Jammu and Kashmir’s freedom from Indian occupation.
