No one can separate Kashmir from Pakistan, asserts Rana Qasim Noon
Muzaffarabad: Chairman of the Parliamentary Kashmir Committee, Rana Qasim Noon, reaffirmed that Kashmir is Pakistan’s jugular vein, and Pakistan is the heart of Kashmiris, asserting that no power in the world can separate the two.
According to Kashmir Media Service, speaking to the media at the Martyrs’ Memorial in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Rana Qasim Noon condemned India’s efforts to alter the demographic composition of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). He criticized the Indian government’s move to issue domicile certificates to hundreds of thousands of non-local Hindus, calling it part of a deliberate attempt to undermine the region’s Muslim-majority status and further its illegal occupation.
Rana Qasim Noon also denounced the ongoing incarceration of Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders such as Yasin Malik, Asiya Andrabi, Shabir Ahmed Shah, and others, who are imprisoned under fabricated charges. He expressed admiration for their steadfastness and courage in the face of India’s repression, stating, “Just as the Berlin Wall fell, one day the blood-stained Line of Control will also be dismantled.”
He reiterated that Kashmir is a national cause for Pakistan, and the country will continue its unwavering moral, political, and diplomatic support for the Kashmiri people until the end of India’s illegal occupation of the territory.
On this occasion, members of the Kashmir Committee, including Fatehullah Khan and Syed Javed Shah Jilani, joined Rana Qasim Noon in expressing solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
