Sardar Attique seeks global action on Kashmir dispute
Muzaffarabad: Former Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan has said that Kashmiris are determined to carry the freedom struggle to its logical conclusion.
According to Kashmir Media Service, in a meeting with former AJK Minister Raja Muhammad Yaseen Khan, and Hurriyat leader Syed Yousuf Naseem, at his residence, Sardar Attique said that the international community should take pragmatic steps for the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with United Nations resolutions.
He highlighted that despite decades of Indian occupation and brutal oppression, the Kashmiri people continue their peaceful struggle. The atrocities and violence committed by Indian forces in IIOJK have reached their peak, and there is an urgent need to awaken global institutions.
He further stressed for immediate measures for the release of Kashmiri political prisoners who are unjustly detained in Indian prisons.
