Indian brutalities in IIOJK continuation of Hindutva ideology, policy: COAS Asim Munir
Islamabad: Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan General Syed Asim Munir has said that Indian brutalities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir is a continuation of Hindutva ideology and policy.
According to Kashmir Media Service, General Syed Asim Munir in his speech at the special ceremony of Margallah Dialogue 2024 in Islamabad said the resolution of the Kashmir dispute according to the United Nations resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiris is inevitable.
He said India’s extremist ideology also poses danger to minorities in UK, US, Canada. He said that Pakistan has always demanded a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon and has insisted on the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
The Pakistan Army chief said the world is currently facing many challenges, one of the main challenges is the rapid spread of false and misleading information and state-sponsored terrorism is also a major global challenge. He added that terrorism was a common challenge for all humanity at the global level.
He said changes are taking place in the economy and technology at the global level, adding technology has played an important role in the spread of information.
The Army Chief said division on religious, sectarian and ethnic lines is increasing globally, inequality and intolerance are increasing the division in the world.
General Asim Munir said Pakistan is a country of 24 crore people, about 63 percent of its population is under 30 years of age and Pakistan is rich in natural resources and has emerged as a big country in terms of agricultural production.
He said that Pakistan would always play its positive role for regional and world peace.
