APHC-AJK leaders, members mourn death of Abdul Majeed Malik

Islamabad: Leaders and members of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter have expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of senior leader Abdul Majeed Malik, who passed away in Islamabad, the other day.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC-AJK Convener Ghulam Mohammad Sufi and other Hurriyat leaders, including Mohammad Farooq Rahmani, Mahmood Ahmad Saghar, Advocate Pervez Ahmad, Mushtaq Ahmad Butt, Syed Yousuf Naseem, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, Mir Tahir Masood, Mohammad Hussain Khateeb, Madam Shameem Shawl, Altaf Hussain Wani, Mohammad Sultan Butt, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Hassan al-Banna, Raja Khadim Hussain; Rafiq Ahmad Dar; Syed Ejaz Rahmani, Nisar Mirza, Sheikh Mohammad Yaqoob, Mohammad Altaf Butt, Sanaullah Dar, Dawood Khan, Zahid Safi, Engineer Mirza Mushtaq, Imtiaz Wani, Zahid Ashraf, Javed Iqbal Butt, Chaudhary Shaheen Iqbal, Syed Mushtaq Gilani, Sheikh Abdul Majid, Manzoor Ahmad Dar, Abdul Majid Lone, Adeel Mushtaq Wani, Mian Muzafar; Syed Gulshan, Nazir Ahmad Karnai, Muhammd Ashraf Dar, Mohammad Shafi Dar, Abdul Hameed Lone, Qazi Imram، Abdul Majeed Mir and Khalid Shabir.

The 65-year-old leader, who represented the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM), had been suffering from multiple ailments for an extended period. He passed away in Burma Town, Islamabad, earlier on Monday.

Abdul Majeed Malik was a dedicated advocate for the Kashmir cause and maintained strong connections with the oppressed people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
