Indian troops’ operation in Jammu enters second day
Jammu: The massive cordon and search operation (CASO) launched by Indian forces’ personnel in the Jammu district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir enters its second day.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian forces’ personnel had launched the search operation near Akhnoor sector of the district on Saturday.
“Locals have seen some suspects moving in the forest area near the LOC. Indian troops have launched the joint operation,” an Indian police official said.
Indian troops have deployed drones and other equipment besides the sniffer dogs to sanitize the area, while police parties have also joined the search operation.
However, there has been no trace of the suspected persons so far, the officials said, adding the search and cordon operation was continuing when the last reports were received.
