Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities have imposed a night curfew in Samba district for the next two months.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the order issued by District Magistrate Ayushi Sudan stated that the restriction will apply to all areas within two kilometres of the border to facilitate operations of the Indian Border Security Force.

The curfew will remain in force daily from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, with civilian movement allowed only for valid reasons. Civilians on the move during these hours must carry identification and present it to BSF or police personnel when asked.

The order, issued in coordination with Indian agencies, warns that violators will face legal action.
