Indian army man, lawyer killed in road accidents in Rajouri, Reasi

Jammu: An Indian Army man was killed in a road accident in Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the soldier died when his motorcycle collided with a truck on the highway near Rah Salyot area of Sunderbani in the district.

An official said the deceased has been identified as Romi Sharma, aged between 30 and 35 years, a resident of Salyote.

He was immediately rushed to the Sub-District Hospital in Sunderbani, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Authorities have taken cognizance of the incident, and further investigation is underway.

On the other hand, a lawyer was killed after his car skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge near Malai in Reasi district.

Meanwhile, the body of a woman, Shareefa Begum—a mother of two—was recovered from the Chenab River in Kishtwar district. She had been missing from her Kwar-Nagsini village since September 18.
