Rich tributes paid to Allama Iqbal (RA) on his birth anniversary

Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has paid glowing tributes to the Poet of the East, Allama Muhammad Iqbal (RA), on his birth anniversary.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas and other leaders and organizations in their statements issued in Srinagar said that Allama Iqbal (RA) had fully supported the people of Kashmir in their struggle against the Dogra regime and encouraged them through his poetry.
He said that Jammu and Kashmir was a part of the motherland of Muslims for which Allama Iqbal (RA) had dreamt. The people of Kashmir are engaged in a peaceful struggle to secure their right to self-determination and will take their freedom movement to its logical conclusion despite all odds, he added.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Alliance, Sajjad Mir, in a statement issued in Srinagar paid glowing tributes to the poet of the East, Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal, on his birth anniversary.
He said that Allama Iqbal was not only a great poet and philosopher but also a visionary leader who instilled a sense of self-awareness and intellectual awareness among the Muslims of the subcontinent.
