APHC-AJK pays tribute to Ghulam Muhammad Mir, Bashir Ahmad Butt on martyrdom anniversary

Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has paid rich tributes to martyred Kashmiri youth Ghulam Muhammad Mir and Bashir Ahmed Butt on their martyrdom anniversary.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian troops martyred Ghulam Muhammad Mir and Bashir Ahmed Butt on this day in 1995 while in custody in Sopore town of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
To mark the anniversary, the APHC-AJK held a meeting at its office in Islamabad with its Convener, Ghulam Mohammad Safi, in the chair. The participants paid homage to the martyrs and lauded their supreme sacrifices for the cause of freedom from Indian occupation.
In a statement issued after the meeting, the APHC-AJK said that that Ghulam Muhammad Mir and Bashir Ahmad Butt laid down their lives like thousands of other Kashmiri martyrs who embraced martyrdom for the just struggle of self-determination. The forum reiterated that the sacrifices of the martyrs would not be allowed to go in vain.
The statement reaffirmed the unwavering resolve of the Kashmiri people to continue their mission with determination until it reaches its logical conclusion.
The APHC-AJK also offered special prayers for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs.
