Uncle of jailed Hurriyet leader Muhammad Yasin Butt passes away in Srinagar

Srinagar: The uncle of illegally detained Hurriyet leader Muhammad Yasin Butt passed away in Srinagar in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the deceased, Ghulam Muhammat Butt, died at his residence in Srinagar after a brief illness. His health had also been adversely affected by prolonged stress due to the continued illegal detention of Muhammad Yasin Butt.
Muhammad Yasin Butt, a resident of Srinagar, remains lodged in Kothbalwal Jail, Jammu, where he is facing deteriorating health and inadequate medical care. Despite enduring continuous hardships, he remains steadfast in his commitment to the freedom movement.
Meanwhile, APHC leaders, in their statements in Srinagar, expressed deep grief over the demise of Ghulam Muhammad Butt and extended their condolences to Muhammad Yasin Butt and the bereaved family. They prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and strength for the family to bear the loss.
