Pakistan’s successful diplomacy raises serious questions in India

Islamabad: Pakistan’s central role as a mediator in the Iran-US talks has raised serious questions about the style of politics of self-styled Vishwa Guru Modi.

According to Kashmir Media Service, observers say that the Iran-US talks in Pakistan have become a lightning rod for India and Modi is facing criticism from all sides.

The opposition party Congress has taken a dig at the so-called Vishwa Guru Modi over India’s diplomatic failure in the context of the Gulf War.

According to the Indian newspaper “Deccan Herald”, senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh in a post on X said Pakistan’s central role as a mediator has raised serious questions about the style of politics of self-styled Vishwa Guru Modi.

He said despite Modi’s “Namaste Trump” and “Trump government again” campaigns, how did America allow Pakistan to play this role?

The Congress leader said despite agreeing to a unilateral trade deal with the US, Modi could not reap any political benefits. He asked why India could not take any conciliatory steps in the context of the Gulf war despite its presidency of BRICS Plus.
