Voices being systematically silenced in IIOJK: Meraj Malik
Jammu: Meraj Malik, Member of the Legislative Assembly in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and leader of the Aam Aadmi Party, has said that voices are being silenced in the territory in a systematic manner.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Meraj Malik, while addressing a public gathering in Doda, a few days after his release from his illegal detention under the black law Public Safety Act (PSA), said, “We have always seen what is happening in Kashmir. Voices are being silenced.”
He said the youth of Kashmir understand the situation but are afraid to speak openly. “The youth knows. His heart says it. His mind says it but he is afraid to speak. You need courage to speak,” he added.
