Indian CRPF officer dies in IIOJK
Srinagar : An Indian paramilitary officer died in Shopian district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
According to Kashmir Media Service, an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) died after collapsing inside a camp in the Zainapora area of the district.
The ASI was deployed at the Horticulture Camp in Zainapora when he suddenly fell unconscious inside the premises, prompting immediate evacuation by fellow personnel. He was shifted to the Community Health Centre (CHC), Zainapora, for treatment, where doctors declared him dead, officials said.
The deceased was a resident of the Rajbagh area of Kathua district.
Authorities have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further proceedings to determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
