Kashmiri sacrifices for freedom will never go in vain: APHC

Srinagar, June 06 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader and Chief Patron of the Peoples Political Front (PPF), Fazal Haq Qureshi, has paid rich tributes to the late APHC leader and former party chairman Musaddiq Aadil on his fourth death anniversary.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Fazal Haq Qureshi, in a statement issued in Srinagar, lauded Musaddiq Aadil for his invaluable and unparalleled contributions to the Kashmir freedom movement.
He said that Musaddiq Aadil had devoted his life to the Kashmir cause, steadfastly opposing India’s illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir. He added that Aadil had endured imprisonment on several occasions due to his unwavering commitment.
Meanwhile, the PPF’s APHC-AJK representative, Hassan Al-Banna, also issued a statement paying rich tribute to the late leader for his unparalleled services to the Kashmir movement. He said that the deceased remained deeply committed to the Kashmir cause, and that Indian oppression and coercive measures failed to weaken his resolve or determination. He prayed for the elevation of the late leader’s ranks and for the early liberation of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir from Indian occupation.
In a separate statement issued in Srinagar, APHC spokesperson Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas also paid tribute to the late APHC leader, highlighting his sacrifices for the Kashmir freedom struggle. He said that the sacrifices of Kashmiris for freedom from Indian illegal occupation would never go in vain.
Minhas strongly condemned the rising Indian state repression in IIOJK and urged the international community to urgently take notice of the BJP-led regime’s brutal crackdown against unarmed Kashmiris and play an active role in resolving the Kashmir dispute, stressing that the unresolved issue remains a major source of regional instability.
It is worth mentioning that PPF Chairman Muhammad Musaddiq Aadil passed away on this day in 2022 in Srinagar. His younger brother, Khurshid Ahmad Aadil, was arrested by Indian army troops in 1990 and has since remained missing following his enforced disappearance.
