Kashmiris continue to be denied self-determination after 8 decades: APHC
#PeaceThroughKashmir

Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said decades have passed but Kashmiris continue to wait for the fulfillment of their right to self-determination, warning that there can be no permanent peace in South Asia without a just settlement of the Kashmir dispute.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement issued in Srinagar said India’s rejection of Kashmiris’ basic right to self-determination is a violation of the UN Charter. He stressed that the roadmap given in the UN’s 5 January resolution must be followed for a settlement of Kashmir.
APHC said India has been impeding a just solution to the Kashmir dispute for nearly 8 decades. The Modi regime cannot suppress the just struggle of Kashmiris through military might, and New Delhi must remember that its policy of repression is bound to fail in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The spokesman urged the world community to fulfill its responsibility by helping resolve the Kashmir dispute for long-term peace and stability in South Asia.
