Rich tributes paid to Hazrat Imam Hussain, other martyrs of Karbala

Srinagar: All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders have said that Muharram processions and Majalis are a means of paying tribute to Imam Hussain (RA) and other martyrs of Karbala and propagating their message of sacrifice and resistance against the oppressors.
According to Kashmir Media Service, addressing mourners at Alamgari Bazaar in Srinagar’s old city, APHC leader Masroor Abbas said the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) sought love for his family anf Ahe Bayt.
“The mourning processions and Majalis are our tribute to Imam Hussain (RA) and a way to convey his message to generations,” he said.
Hurriyat leaders Fayaz Hussain Jafri and Syed Sibt Shabbir Qummi also paid tributes to the sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) in their statements.
Hurriyat leader Mushtaq Ahmad Butt in a statement said that Hazrat Imam (RA) will live through due to his resistance against the oppressor.
