Indian army man killed, two injured in Arunachal Pradesh accident

Itanagar: An Indian army man was killed and two others were injured after an army truck plunged into a gorge in Arunachal Pradesh.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the accident occurred on National Highway-13 in West Kameng district when a truck of the 18 Sikh Light Infantry (LI), carrying three Army personnel, lost control near the PT ground of the 30 Battalion of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) in Dirang. The vehicle crashed through the unit’s chain-link fencing before plunging into a gorge.
Official sources said one soldier was declared dead on arrival at the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Dirang, while the two injured personnel were shifted for medical treatment. The cause of the accident in under investigation.
