Hindutva activists brutally beat up three Muslim youths in Ramban; one in critical condition
Jammu : Hindutva activists brutally beat up three Muslim youths, one of whom is said to be in critical condition, in Ramban district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the heartbreaking incident occurred on the evening of August 4 in Balaot area of the district.
One of the affected youths, Shakeel Ahmed, in a complaint, filed at Ramban police station, said that he and his two other companions were transporting cows from Kariya area.
He said that when they reached Balaot village, around 17 so-called cow vigilantes attacked them, abused them and kicked them.
The complainant further said that the attackers also threatened to kill them if they informed the police or continued the movement of cattle.
A youth was seriously injured in the violence of the Hindutva goons and has been admitted to the Government Medical College, Jammu.
The attacking Hindutva goons also snatched the mobile phones of the Muslim youth, while during the attack the cattle got scared and ran away in different directions and no trace of them has been found yet, due to which they have suffered heavy losses.
The police have started an investigation into the incident, but no one has been arrested yet
