Agha Hassan mourns Poonch accident deaths, condemns Kishtwar minor’s rape, murder
Srinagar : Senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader and President of Anjuman Shari Shian Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosavi Al-Safavi has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of six precious lives in a tragic road accident in Poonch, the rape and murder of a minor girl in Kishtwar, and the large-scale loss of life caused by devastating floods in Nepal.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Agha Syed Hassan said the recurring loss of lives in road accidents demands serious reflection from the administration and concerned departments. He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, expressed solidarity with those affected and prayed for the swift recovery of the injured.
Voicing grave concern over the sexual assault and murder of a minor girl in Kishtwar, he said crimes such as sexual violence and murder against innocent children were unacceptable in any civilized society. He called for an independent and impartial investigation into the incident and demanded that the perpetrators be awarded the strictest possible punishment.
Agha Syed Hassan also urged the public to avoid rumors and unverified information in such sensitive matters
