Another pigeon with ring found in Jammu’s RS Pora area

Indian authorities launch probe after ring reportedly bears Pakistani phone number

Jammu: A pigeon with a ring attached to its leg has been found in Jammu district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The pigeon was found near the Working Boundary in the RS Pora area of the district.

Indian authorities claimed that the pigeon had flown in from across the border and was carrying a ring bearing a Pakistani mobile phone number. Local residents caught the pigeon and handed it over to Indian forces. An investigation has been launched to determine the origin of the pigeon.

Notably, similar incidents involving pigeons with rings have previously been reported in other areas along the Line of Control (LoC) and Working Boundary in the Jammu region, including Samba, Hiranagar, Kathua and Akhnoor sectors. Earlier this month, on September 17, a pigeon with a ring was also found in Hiranagar area of Kathua district and was taken into custody by Indian intelligence agencies.

The tendency of Indian forces and media to label harmless birds as “Pakistani spies” and portray them as security threats not only exposes the absurdity of such claims and causes embarrassment for India internationally, but also serves as an example of unwarranted propaganda against Pakistan.
