Indian Reserve Police constable commits suicide in Jammu
Jammu: An Indian Reserve Police (IRP) constable has committed suicide in Jammu city of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The 40-year-old IRP constable, identified as Arjun Chand committed suicide by hanging himself at his rented accommodation near Galaxy Plaza in Chinore area of the city.
The deceased was serving in the 24th Battalion of IRP and was presently posted at Manwal.
After receiving information about the incident, a police party rushed to the rented accommodation and initiated inquest proceedings.
The body was found at the accommodation and further proceedings are underway, Indian officials told media men.
