Seminar in Peshawar highlights importance of UN January 05 resolution on Kashmir
Peshawar:The Youth Forum for Kashmir (YFK) in collaboration with Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University on the topic “UNCIP Resolution on Kashmir: A Tale of 74 Years Continuous Struggle” in Peshawar, today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the seminar reaffirmed the UNCIP Resolution’s enduring importance as a roadmap for a peaceful settlement of the Kashmir dispute based on the right of self-determination, where speakers talked about the importance of 05 January resolution on Kashmir and the current situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The speakers emphasized the implantation of a UN resolution on Kashmir and appealed to the world community to hear the voices coming from the occupied territory.
The speakers include Former Minister for Women Empowerment KPK Asiya Khan, APHC leader Imtaiz Wani, Dr Sumaira Gul, Abid Abbasi, Dr Hussain Shaheed Suharwardi and Executive Director of YFK Zaman Bajwa.
The seminar was attended by a large number of students and faculty members of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar.
