New Delhi directs IIOJK admin to seize assets of TeH, JKML
New Delhi: The Narendra Modi-led Indian government continues to snatch assets of innocent people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir to punish them for their affiliation with the ongoing freedom movement.
According to Kashmir Media Service, in its fresh move the Modi regime has directed the IIOJK administration to seize all assets and freeze bank accounts and finances belonging to Tehreek-e-Hurriyat and Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League headed by Masarat Alam Butt.
Issuing two identical notifications, the Indian Home Ministry said the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (Masarat Alam faction) was declared unlawful outfit on December 27, 2023 under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 and the Tehreek-e-Hurriyat was banned on December 31, 2023 under the same law.
