Delhi court sends illegally detained Kashmiri youth to 14-day judicial custody
Srinagar:A Delhi court has sent an illegally detained Kashmiri youth arrested in several false cases to 14-day judicial custody.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Delhi’s Patiala House Court sent Javaid Mattoo to judicial custody.
Juvaid Mattoo, a resident of Sopore area of Baramulla district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, was arrested by Indian police from Nizamuddin area of New Delhi on the 4th of this month. The Indian police have implicated him in several false cases in occupied Kashmir registered over a decade ago.
The court directed the release of another Kashmiri youth, Muhammad Rafi Nazar, after Indian police failed to provide any proof against him in a case. However, he will remain in custody in a case registered against him by India’s dreaded National Investigation Agency (NIA).
