SIU of Indian police produces chargesheet against 3 innocent youth in Baramulla
Srinagar: The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Indian police has produced a chargesheet against three innocent Kashmiris before a court in Baramulla district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the SIU filed the chargesheet in a special court of India’s dreaded National Investigation Agency against Showkat Ali Awan, Ahmed Din Khatana and Muhammad Sideeq Khatana in a fake case registered against them last year. They were arrested by Indian police during raids at their houses in Churanda Uri area of Baramulla district in August last year.
The case was registered under the black law Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
The court has fixed the next hearing of the case on February 16.
