IIOJK Christian community lauds Moosvi’s interfaith dialogue efforts
Srinagar: The Christian community of Kashmir felicitated senior APHC leader Agha Syed Hassan Al Moosvi Al Safvi for his efforts in promoting interfaith dialogue and religious freedom amid divisive tactics being used by communal forces in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Dr. Pastor Philips, representing the Christian delegation, acknowledged Moosvi’s longstanding support for interfaith cooperation and diversity. Another member, Pastor Paul, emphasized the importance of unity amongst all faiths under Moosvi’s leadership to combat hatred and bigotry.
Agha Syed Hassan Moosvi expressed his gratitude to the Christian community and highlighted the importance of dialogue in Anjuman’s social and political activities. He emphasized the organization’s historical commitment to fostering brotherhood between Shias and Sunnis, as well as maintaining good relations with Kashmiri Pandits, Sikhs, and Christians. The APHC leader vowed to continue these efforts and build upon the legacy of his predecessors who worked on property protection, upholding neighborhood rights, and resolving family conflicts.
Moosvi emphasized the importance of upholding Kashmir’s tradition of living in harmony amongst various faiths.
