APHC-AJK pays tributes to Amanullah Khan on his anniversary

Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter organized a prayer meeting on the eighth death anniversary of late Amanullah Khan, the well-known leader of the freedom movement and the supreme head of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the prayer meeting was chaired by APHC-AJK chapter Convener Mahmood Ahmed Saghar. The Hurriyat leaders, paying tributes to the late leader on the occasion, said that he had dedicated his life for the freedom of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. They said that the deceased was a very fearless and talented leader who was associated with a great cause till the end of his life.

The Hurriyat leaders expressed concern over the increasing Indian atrocities in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and said the Modi government has created an atmosphere of fear and terror in the territory.

Paying homage to the two youths, who were martyred, today, in Sopore by Indian troops, they said India cannot lower the morale of Kashmiris by killing and arresting innocent people and they will continue the great mission of their martyrs until the goal is achieved.

On this occasion, the Hurriyat leaders appealed to the United Nations Human Rights Council, Amnesty International, Asia Watch and other international human rights organizations to put pressure on India to stop serious violations of human rights in the occupied territory.

In the end, prayers were offered for the elevation of the ranks of late Amanullah Khan and martyrs of Kashmir.
